My network previously consisted of a 3-year Ambit cable modem from Comcast together with a Netgear WNDR4000 wireless router (the wireless radio's are turned off) and a Netgear R8300 wireless router, configured as an access point. I was consistently getting about 135Mbps download speeds on (802.11ac) wireless laptops, wired PC's, Iphone and Ipad. I was informed that my cable modem is no longer supported and will not get the recently upgraded bandwidth increase to 200Mbps because of the old cable modem. I replaced the Ambit modem with the Arris 6190. After a very smooth activation, I was receiving about 240Mbps download speeds on all wired connections and the wireless laptop. The Iphone and Ipad are download speeds have now been reduced to 80-90Mbps, slower that before I switched. The router setting have not changed and the wireless AP configurations are identical. Nothing has changed...did the new cable modem cause this issue??? I completely rebooted/reconfigured/=...etc to all devices, but to no avail.,,,I was using Xfinity Speedtest and OOKla...Thanks
